The Larch Valley hike is a must-do for many travelers visiting Banff National Park, especially in September and October when the larch trees turn their needles into a stunning golden hue. This popular hike starts at Moraine Lake, but since the lake is off-limits to private vehicles, you’ll need to book a shuttle. Don’t worry, we’ve got your back—and your seat!

Our shuttle service departs at 9 AM from Canmore with a stop in Banff, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride while we handle the logistics. You’ll arrive at Moraine Lake around 10:30 AM, giving you plenty of time—about 8 hours—to soak in the scenery and conquer the hike. Afterward, why not take a stroll on the Rockpile Trail or, if the canoe dock is still open, try your hand at some paddling? Just remember, the faster you hike, the more time you’ll have for canoeing. If you’re a slow hiker… well, consider it extra time to enjoy nature!
The shuttle picks you up at 6:30 PM, so you can relax knowing you’ve got a comfy ride back after a full day of adventuring.

With us, we start right from Canmore, with a stop in Banff, and drive the whole 95 km directly to Moraine Lake. No pit stops, no “figure it out yourself” moments—just a smooth, scenic ride.
